HOW IT STARTED
Antelope Canyon is a naturally formed slot canyon. Tours must be scheduled in advance. Tour tickets are for specific dates and times. Antelope Canyon is located just outside of Page, Arizona, on the Navajo Reservation.
Visitors cannot explore on their own and must be part of a scheduled tour. Day tours are available from Las Vegas that include transportation, admission to Antelope Canyon as well as Horseshoe Bend.
Tours last about one hour inside the canyon. The walking tours are not physically demanding but do require reasonable mobility. Lower Antelope Canyon includes narrow stairs. Antelope Canyon is not wheelchair accessible. All tours are led by Navajo guides. Bags are not allowed.

Photos are definitely allowed and encouraged. Antelope Canyon is the most famous slot canyon, and one of the most beautiful and striking places on Earth.
