Experience a masterpiece of Nature as you visit Antelope Canyon. Enjoy a scenic ride to the canyon where your Navajo guide will explain geology, culture and local history. Upon arrival, you will enter an amazing world of light, shapes and colors. Immerse yourself in wonder of this amazing slot canyon. Colors are rich and deep in the morning and afternoon, and the famous light beams occur mid-day during April to September. This beautiful canyon is located near Page, Arizona.
Our day tour also include a visit to breathtaking Horseshoe Bend Overlook. You will thrill to see a view from 1000 feet above the Colorado River as you look down upon the mighty river at the bottom of Glen Canyon. Horseshoe Bend is an area where the Colorado River makes a 280-degree turn, providing almost unreal views of desert, river, cliffs and canyon. This spectacular view point will surprise and delight travelers and add to a memorable day.

1. You will depart in the morning from Las Vegas, and head North through the Mojave Desert.
2. Approximately 90 minutes later, you will pass Mesquite, Nevada and enter the Virgin River Gorge, a dramatic and beautiful canyon carved by the rushing river waters in Northwestern Arizona.
3. Crossing into Utah, you will travel through St. George, known as Utah’s Dixie with its mild climate.
4. About 4 hours into your journey, you will pass through the town of Kanab, known as Utah’s little Hollywood due to being the setting for many Western movies and centrally located to access many national parks and sites.
5. Arrive at the town of Page after approximately a 1-hour ride later and be welcomed by the Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell, the 2nd largest artificial lake in the US.
6. The order in which you visit the main attractions of the tour vary due to the timing of the scheduled guided Antelope tours.
7. Visit the part of the renowned Antelope Canyon tour ushered by a local native guide and be amazed by the natural spectacle. The guided tour will last approximately 1 hours.
8. Visit Horseshoe Bend Overlook, where you walk to the rim of the overlook and marvel at the bend created by the Colorado River that gave the site its namesake. This portion of the tour will last approximately 1 hour.
9. Depart the town of Page for your return trip to Las Vegas, approximately 5-hour ride back to the city.
Operator Advisements:
Operation Timezone: Antelope Canyon Tours operate on the same time zone as Page, Arizona, which is Mountain Standard Time (MST). Traveling to Page, you may find your phone change to other time zones, so please make sure to follow the time in Page for the correct arrival time.
Do not bring: Selfie sticks, tripods, strollers, drones, pets or service animals. We have a limit of One (1) backpack per family / group.
Dusty conditions: We advise you to dress your camera in a rain jacket (not for actual rain) to avoid the falling sand that is thrown in the canyon. Changing your lens in the canyon is at your own risk – we are not responsible for damaged cameras.
Weather: Please check out the expected weather at least 2 or 3 days prior to arrival, and be prepared for weather that can be either cold or hot. Come with layers. Bring plenty of water – small hydration packs are best.
Children: If you are unable to add a child between 0-7 years old it is due to the fact that we have reached the carrying capacity for children with car seats. Our truck design limits the number of children requiring car seats.
Strict Passenger Limits: Please book the exact number of persons joining the tour, including children of all ages. If you arrive in our office needing seats for more people, we will not be able to squeeze them on tour. Be sure to book far in advance, as we do sell out. With Daily passenger limits we cannot add more seats to a tour that does not have enough seats.
MASK MANDATE: The Navajo Reservation has a mask mandate, Everyone two (2) years and older has to wear a mask – covering the nose and mouth – face shields are not allowed. It is likely this mask mandate will last all of 2021 – if you cannot or do not want to wear a mask we kindly ask you revisit our tour when the Navajo Nation no longer has a mask mandate.
• All sales are final, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be canceled once the reservation is complete. Exceptions will be made in the case of valid force majeure.
• Please be aware that the admission is only valid for the specified time and date of service due to limited availability, no exceptions will be made.
• Please contact us at NPE the day prior of activity to reconfirm, office hours are 9am - 6pm daily.
• Please notify NPE of any accompanying children. The amount and their ages are required to ensure the accurate reservation of admissions. In the event that Antelope Canyon rejects the guests due to the previous reason, then guests will solely assume full responsibility of any loss as a result.
• The age of non-adult participants will be determined by date of birth on the valid photo ID the day of entry.
• Children ages 0 - 7 years old qualify for youth rates; if the youth is older than 7 on the tour date, a supplemental fee per youth must be paid on-site.
• If supplemental fees are not paid on-site by guest(s), it will be considered as voluntary refusal of activity, and no refund of any kind will be issued.
• The local Navajo staff strives to start the guided tours on the scheduled time, but especially during peak season, the staff reserves the right to make adjustments. Please defer to their instructions in such an event.
• No pets or service animals allowed on tour.
Weather Disclaimer for Antelope Canyon: Our tours will operate year-round, throughout seasonal weather. If roads are closed due to weather or other conditions that prohibit us from entering an area of the tour, we will do our best to provide the best route and/or alternate locations and timing to be able to continue to provide the best tour possible. If it is not possible to provide a planned inclusion of the tour with an admission cost, a partial refund will be offered to the guests, minus a processing fee. If the tour still takes place with a portion of the planned itinerary, guests will not receive a refund, other than from excluded admissions. Any decision to close Antelope Canyon due to weather comes from the Antelope Canyon operators and/or Navajo Parks and Recreation. National Park Express has no control over these closures. If our day tour guests are unable to be admitted to Antelope Canyon, the tour will still include Horseshoe Bend Overlook, and viewing Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell; in such a case, a portion of the tour, equal to the Antelope Canyon admission minus a processing fee, will be refunded to our travelers.
